Desert Aire Golf Course is a Public, 9 hole golf course located in Palmdale, California.
Desert Aire Golf Course first opened for play in 1960. The course was designed by Ted Robinson.
Located on the edge of the Mojave Desert, in Palmdale, Desert Aire Golf Course is a flat, regulation length, 9-hole public track with few distinguishing features besides the Joshua trees that are native to the area. It is not a difficult course. It is not a course anyone is dying to play. But, it is there, and people will come. The price is right, and the staff is accomodating. If you want a laid back nice round of golf to practice up before Pebble Beach, this might be just the ticket.
White tees: par-36, 3,062 yards, 34.1/102
Red tees(W): par-35, 2,799 yards, 34.9/102

An older course, but still fun to play. As for cost and value, it's great! I have never had anty trouble getting a tee time and the staff is always friendly, courtious, and professional. They also have a great deal on lessons Saturday mornings!

The staff is very nice and friendly and there are discounts in the middle of the week day for the driving range. You can usually walk up and get right on the course. A good way to tune up your golf game for a very reasonable price.
